Cause Description:
The Zeta Phi Beta Sorority National Educational Foundation was established by a Trust Agreement in 1975 between Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated, the donor organization, and the Board of Managers of the Foundation, which acts as Trustees of the Trust. It is a tax exempt charitable and educational organization within the meaning of Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code and contributions to the Foundation are tax-deductible. The principal activities and purposes of the Foundation are the awarding of scholarship grants to worthy students for the pursuit of higher education; encouragement and participation in educational activities including research which will aid in the academic development of all women; and the presentation of community programs which aid in the educational and/or vocational improvement of individual and of community living standards.
